Sleepless in Seattle

As promised, pictures from Seattle!!!

Suakoo first shot.
PS: Surprisingly, I had no 'random checks' whilst I was in the U.S. Probably cause everyone had to do the same thing to walk throught the metal detectors; take off shoes, take your electronic stuff out of you carry-on bag and take of your jackets and stuff.

Seattle is where StarBucks came from (I think)... So there's one EVERYWHERE. Along with other brands of coffee places ('Seattle's Best' anyone?). But they don't have free WIFI.

At the airport. What would three architecture students do in Seattle?

Take a bus (174 from the airport) to see Rem Koolhaas's Seattle Public Library -the Holy monument for archi students!

Bragging rights!!!
Been there, done that!!! But its closed though. But who cares? We visited it!
Next up, tour around the city! Everything's closed though. Seems like everything closes after 6!
Next it was to look for that landmark needle!

Its not exactly downtown though, had to walk a lot of blocks down the road to somewhere near the pier cum carnival ground.

Is that a mirage I see?

Its the real DEAL. Tadah...

Tickets to go up!!! Only USD16!!!
Nice 360 degrees view of Seattle at night.

Zic, looking like the dark knight... There's a Gehry-ish building beside the Space Needle. Looks nice...
Looking manly, despite the cold. Zic is nuts as you can see.

I have more pictures but too little time to upload.

Till next time. See ya again Seattle.
